2. Course description The course will enable you to work closely with the techniques of watercolour and ink (combined and separately) through the use of sketchbook, photographs, found images or direct observation. You be practicing various techniques. Gain confidence in using materials and be encouraged to take part in group discussionsHave access to one to one support The overall aim is to help you develop personal expression through a mixture of practice, discussion and demonstration techniques.

3. Entry requirements Those with some experience of painting would be an advantage. Useful for those who need a refresher as well as those with a little experience. Some drawing skills would be helpful and complete beginners are advised to join a beginners course.We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. Please let staff know if you require any extra support when you enrol and they will arrange for a member of the Supported Learning Team to contact you to discuss your support needs. Equipment required Bring whatever watercolour materials and/or ink you may already have purchased as well as brushes and nibs and other art materials you have.Some Watercolour paper (300gms) and or smooth mixed media paper (250gms)Materials and resources you will need through the course will be given throughout the course. 5.
