2. Course description Develop further a range of watercolour materials to produce different techniques. These will be taught through structured exercises and demonstrations. You will learn to distinguish the use of tone, colour, composition and texture Gain confidence in using watercolour materials and be encouraged to take part in group discussions Have access to one to one support The overall aim is to help you discover and develop your abilities through a mixture of practice, discussion and demonstration techniques

3. Entry requirements For beginners as well as those with with some basic knowledge of the subject.We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. Please let staff know if you require any extra support when you enrol and they will arrange for a member of the Supported Learning Team to contact you to discuss your support needs. Surrey Adult Learning values and supports equality and diversity by promoting fairness and respect at all times. 4. Equipment required Bring whatever watercolour materials you may already have purchased, a 2B pencil, a plastic eraser and a pad of 200lb watercolour paper 16x12 inches, ideally 'Not'. If you are not sure about the paper, then discuss with your tutor in the first session. Materials you will need through the course will be discussed at induction and a guide list provided by your tutor. 5. Assessment method Not available
