Course Aims:
Students will be introduced to the skills and techniques of waterclour painting along with the exploration of gouache, inks and pastels. Students will work in a friendly atmosphere with individual tuition, support and guidance.
Course Content:
Exploring wet on wet and dry on dry techniques, using resist, mark-making and other formal elements.
Progression:
NCFE Level 3 Creative Crafts - there are a variety of part-time courses available across the Faculty.

Exam:
Assessment is informal and ongoing. Students will produce a portfolio of work showing completion/evidence of three mandatory units which are assessed by the tutor and verified by an external NCFE moderator. As an integral part of the course all students will be expected to complete a workbook evidencing competence in the assessment criteria.
