Web Design Using Dreamweaver C&G Certificate Level 2

Is this course for me?
This course covers the industry standard web authoring package
to create effective web pages. It suits those with experience of
the internet and a good knowledge of Windows and managing disks and
files on a computer. Dreamweaver does most of the hard work, but
students are encouraged to learn enough about HTML and JavaScript
so they can troubleshoot.
What will I study?
This course provides an introduction to the Dreamweaver work
environment. Students explore basic web page layout and formatting
including text, images, forms and frames. The course also covers
website maintenance including uploading and creating links.

What can I do next?
This can lead to other IT courses including other web design
courses.
What are the entry requirements?
You will need to sit a short assessment and attend an
interview.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is through students being encouraged to take an
assessment in order to gain the LOCN Certificate. Assessments are
always carried out informally in the classroom. At Level 2 students
are expected to be able to use the appropriate package with
confidence and without help.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
