ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should have previous experience of web page design at Level 2 or current experience and be seeking certification. It is essential that as well as a reasonable knowledge of computers and computer terminology applicants must have experience of working with basic applications for example, Word Processing.
PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE
There are 5 outcomes to this unit.

Students will be able to:

1. Explain the fundamentals of advanced web page development.
2. Undertake formal user requirements analyses.
3. Use appropriate development tools to implement and test interactive web pages incorporating advanced design and information presentation techniques.
4. Use appropriate graphics software to create and manipulate images.
5. Maintain and evaluate web sites.
PROGRESSION/CAREERS OPPORTUNITIES
2D animation with Flash Level 2 or Level 3 (these may be studied in conjunction with the Web Design Course)
