Your Course
This course aims to build and deepen the experience gleaned on the beginners Wine Appreciation course allowing students to taste wines from geographical areas not covered in the Beginners course. This includes amongst others, Eastern Europe, South Africa, the Americas, at the same time as developing rigorous tasting techniques.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, students will have had the opportunity to
· gain a good all-round knowledge of the world of wine
· developed tasting techniques sufficiently to tackle the advanced Wine Appreciation course
Your Tutor
Matthew Boucher has been in the wine trade for almost 20 years. He regularly travels to wine regions to keep up to date with the latest developments in the industry. He has passed the rigorous tasting exams for the Institute of Masters of Wine and is keen to transfer some of his experience to others interested in wine.
Day and time: Wednesday 7.00 - 9.00
Start date: 20 January
Number of sessions: 10
Tuition fees: £90
Method of payment: Fees for short courses (10 weeks or less) to be paid in full at enrolment and for long courses (12 weeks or more) fees of 50% can be paid at enrolment plus 50% as a cheque. Course places cannot be reserved without receipt of both payments.

Please note that there are no classes during half term Monday 15th - Friday 19th February 2010 unless otherwise stated.
