What's it all about?:
As a qualified electrician you need to ensure that work you do from July 2008 complies with the 17th edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations. On our evening course (3 hours per week for nine weeks), you will get a sound and thorough practical grounding in all aspects of the regulations focusing on installation design, inspection, testing and supervision. You will emerge confident that when you plan, erect, protect, test and inspect yours, or anyone else's, work that it complies.

Progression:
You can progress to higher level qualifications at the College.

Entry Requirements:
In our experience in order to be successful on this level of course you will need to have relevant electrical qualifications or relevant work experience.

This course is also suitable for others who may require a basic working knowledge of BS 7671:2008.

It is essential that course delegates bring with them a copy of BS 7671:2008 The 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations (ISBN 978-0-86341-844-0).

Duration: Nine weeks

You will be required to sit a City & Guilds multiple choice online examination.
