This construction course provides the practical skills and knowledge required to successfully embark upon a progression route in college or a career in the Construction Industry as a Bench Joiner. The focus is based on the practical skills and underpinning knowledge required in the Construction Industry.
The Programme Content
7 units including Health & Safety, Knowledge of Information Level 2, Building Methods & Technology Level 2 plus the main Wood Occupations units, Setting Out Details, Marking Out, Manufacture of Joinery Products and Safe Use of Circular Saw. All units are covered in theory and practical sessions.
