Word Processing Level 3

This course is for highly skilled and experienced computer users, including those students who are progressing from Level 2.
This would be an appropriate goal for supervisory staff or those wanting to gain occupational competence to deliver training in IT applications
Entry RequirementsProspective students should have achieved Word Processing Level 2.
Course Content
The course will allow students to access the most complex and sophisticated applications in Word.
The emphasis is on business communications - letters, faxes, minutes, terms of reference, contracts, multi-page report/article, newspaper style article, information sheet, tables, two- sided booklet/programme/leaflet.

Students must gain 2 units to obtain this qualification:- Text Production and Word Processing.

How will I be assessed?
Small groups enable students to build on their existing skills with one to one support from their tutor before undertaking practice papers for the external examination.
What can I do next?
You may wish to broaden your qualification by completing further units to gain an overall Certificate.

Alternatively, you may decide to broaden your knowledge base by undertaking the Private Secretary Diploma.
