Be aware of accidents that happen while working at heights Relate the general requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to their own work activities Gain a greater understanding of the Work at Height regulations 2005 Understand what is considered 'Work at Height' Understand the hierarchy control measures Be aware of varied means of access to Working at Heights Be aware of varied work equipment for use when Working at Height Be aware of the need to plan Work at Height activities Carry out a risk assessment relating to Working at Heights. Suitable for: Employees, Supervisors and Managers who work at height or supervise/manage work at height activities within their scope of work.

Content review:
In 2005/2006 falls from height accounted for 46 fatal accidents and around 3500 major injuries. They remain the biggest single cause of workplace fatality and major injury. (Source: HSE)
Many of these injuries and fatalities could have been avoided with appropriate training and proper understanding of safety equipment.
The Work at Height Regulations 2005 state that:
- All work at height must be properly planned and organized
- All involved are competent
- Risks are assessed
- Suitable equipment is selected, used, inspected and maintained
Evolution offer a one day training course to ensure all those working at height are familiar with all regulations and use of appropriate equipment.
The course includes theory and hands-on practical sessions. This will include correct fitting and care of Personal Protective Equipment.
