Your Course
The course is designed for students who have no previous knowledge of Spanish. The aim of the course is to develop their ability to understand and respond to spoken and written Spanish, in a business context. Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course will have been given the opportunity to:
· Meet and greet people in formal situations.
· Talk about jobs and nationalities
· Carry out basic converstions, face-to-face and on the telephone
· Say where you live and give directions
· Arrange a meeting
· Read and write short e-mails and letters.
Your Tutor
Pedro Barriuso Algar is a native speaker from Seville in Spain. He graduated with a degree in Spanish and English at the University of Seville, where he qualified as a teacher. After teaching English in Spain for two years he moved to Cambridge where he has been teaching Spanish to adults. Apart from teaching Spanish at Hills Road, he is also a tutor for the Open University, and a language supervisor at the University of Cambridge. He recently completed a Masters Degree in Education (Applied Linguistics).

Tuition fees: £99
Method of payment: Fees for short courses (10 weeks or less) to be paid in full at enrolment and for long courses (12 weeks or more) fees of 50% can be paid at enrolment plus 50% as a cheque. Course places cannot be reserved without receipt of both payments.

Please note that there are no classes during half term Monday 15th - Friday 19th February 2010 unless otherwise stated.
