Adult Literacy Certificates (Entry Level 1, 2 and 3)

There are three elements to these awards:

• Listening and speaking
• reading
• writing

Each element is taught and addressed separately. So, if a learner is more capable at reading than they are at writing, they can gain recognition for this. Learners will be assessed by either a short task and a portfolio or by an assignment.
