A REPs recognised Level 2 Fitness Instructing Qualification (or Exercise to Music) is required prior to commencing this course. This qualification should have been completed within the last 3 years or proof of your current REPs status will also be required. An original copy of your certificate(s) will need to be presented to your tutor on your first attendance course or assessment.

Circuits Solutions

Circuit training classes continue to be a fun and popular exercise class in health clubs everywhere due to the variety of exercise they offer combined with the increased strength and cardiovascular fitness that can be gained. Circuits can be used to improve specific components of fitness, energy systems and as well as sports performance. You will learn everything from setting up indoor and outdoor classes, one-to-one to group classes and the importance of setting up the class and delivering in a motivational manner. This two day course is for anyone who wants to teach fun and varied classes and it's an excellent way for personal trainers to pick up clients too!

Circuit training continues to be a popular exercise class found in all health clubs. This two day practical workshop will enable you to hold circuits classes in a number of situations; indoor circuits classes, outdoor circuits sessions and one-to-one training situations. A great workshop for anyone who wants to teach fun and varied classes and it's an excellent way for personal trainers to pick up clients. The practical skills learnt on the module will be assessed throughout the day by tutor observation. Prior to attending this module candidates must have completed a REPS level 2 award.

Develop the skills to deliver a versatile discipline in a number of settings; indoor circuits classes, outdoor circuits sessions and one-to-one training situations

How to set out the room, utilise equipment and how long a circuits class should last

Look at the importance of voice, teaching position and communication skills


Entry requirements
