Level: Entry
Course content:
This course is for people who want to improve their use of English Grammar and understand the terms used and the structure of English Grammar. The course could form a foundation for further study such as GCSE/A level, courses in teaching English or improve grammar for learners whose mother tongue is not English.
By the end of the course you will be able to:
1. identify parts of speech
2. use tenses correctly.
3. structure a sentence correctly.
4. use adverbs, adjectives and qualifying phrases properly
Course Structure:
There will be mini-presentations by the tutor with note-taking or handouts, exercises, quizzes, group and individual exercises.
Course resources:
All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.
Assessment:
Teacher feedback. Individual Student progress Records. Student and peer self-assessment. Quizzes questions

When information is available you will notice 2 different fees stated for this course. The fee you pay is dependent on your status:
Fee 1: Standard fee;
Fee 2: Aged 60+ years fee
Students in receipt of an income-based benefit pay £20 per course per term.
You will need to bring proof of age and any benefits when you enrol.
You DO NOT have to pay a college registration fee for these courses, but you may have to pay for additional course materials.Materials costs:
