Course programme
Our degrees are divided into Stages. Each Stage lasts for an academic year and you need to complete modules totalling 120 credits by the end of each Stage.
Programme modules do change and therefore may differ for your year of entry.

- ACE2056 Food Science and Technology
- ACE2059 Nutrition and Metabolism
- ACE2065 Applied and Experimental Human Nutrition
- ACE2066 Academic and Professional Skills 2
- BIO2012 Molecular Genetics and Mammalian Biochemistry

Between Stages 2 and 3, you spend the equivalent of one academic year on an approved work placement. The placement will involve work in food and/or human nutrition and may be within the UK or abroad. You will prepare a report on the work you have been doing as an integral part of the placement year.
