FOUNDATION DEGREE IN EARLY YEARSLevel 5 Part Time

This course is designed for people who are currently working with young children in an early years setting. Designed for practitioners who may wish to progress to EYTS (Early Years teacher).

You could be working in either a maintained or non-maintained setting, in a range of roles such as: Senior Nursery Nurse, Nursery Supervisor/Manager, Pre-School, Childminder, Play Group Leader, Room leader, Social services children’s department. You can be working as a paid employee or voluntary worker in the setting. A minimum of 12 hours a week is necessary. Students will link theory to practice.
