Description of course:
Comprising a range of science subjects. These are studied to a greater depth than within single science. Science subjects covered, Biology, Chemistry, Physics.

Method of assessment:
Examinations and assessment, Double Science is awarded two grades and is equivalent to studying two GCSEs.

Progression opportunities and careers:
You can progress to a Level 3 course or to employment.

Entry requirements:
A minimum of 2 GCSEs grade D or above or successful achievement at a Level 1 vocational course

The GCSE full time programme is primarily for 16-18 year old students who have previously completed a GCSE programme at school. The objective of the course is to provide students with the opportunity to improve the number of GCSE grades at C or above that they achieve. Students applying must be motivated and focussed on achievement.

Additional qualifications studied:
All full time students will undertake a combination of additional qualifications that will enhance their study skills and those skills that will be important in employment.
