Course Description
The aim of the course is:
* To develop design work from source of inspiration through to a design reference for costume.
* To create and complete five costume items along with a portfolio of samples.

The course includes:
* Design for craft - explore colour, texture, line shape and form. Use of a range of materials. Research historical and contemporary sources.
* Creating a historic costume, a recycled costume, support garment, stretch costume and an item of headwear.

The course also features museum and exhibition visits.
