Learn all the fused glass basics in just 1 day inc: safe & easy glass cutting, slumping & getting to grips with stringers, noodles, confetti & coloured glass frits. Make a minimum of 6 projects!

Deborah will guide you through a practical hands on introduction to fused glass starting with fun & easy projects in the morning progressing to a final larger project in the afternoon. This fused glass workshop offers very easy beginners projects & templates to the more complex ones for those wanting to jump in the deep end!

Create as many projects as time allows! Bowls, small panels, sculptures, candle bridges, mosaics, jewellery & coasters to name a few! A fun workshop for a relaxing creative day out in the countryside or a perfect introduction for those starting a new glass hobby!

About this course

The objective of this course is to take a complete beginner through a introduction to fused glass which will include cutting in a safe and easy manner, how to layer glass with frits and stringers.

This is a practical hands on day having fun creating easy step by step projects.

A fun hands on practical workshop for beginners looking for a relaxing creative day out in the countryside or a perfect introduction for those starting a new glass hobby!

No specific requirements are needed for this course other than to wear closed toe shoes or trainers and a long sleeve top.

Beautiful surroundings on the familys dairy farm set in rural Cheshire, all courses include: materials, organic 2 course lunch, free refreshments & tuition with a leading glass artist with over 12yrs experience in glass
