What will you be learning?
This evening courses is designed for anyone wishing to improve their language skills.

This course will help you improve your communication skills in writing, reading, listening and speaking. You will be able to use a range of vocabulary related to personal, social and work situations. Applicants will need to have a beginner's level and will be interviewed.

What happens when you have finished?
You can progress onto a higher level course.

You may not have to pay this tuition fee if:

• You are unemployed and in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance (contribution-based)
• You are in receipt of, or are an un-waged dependent of someone currently in receipt of any of the following "income-based" benefits:
  • Income-based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA)
  • Income-related Employments and Support ALlowance (ESA)
  • Income Support
  • Working Tax Credit (your assessed household income needs to be less than 15,276 per year (amount subject to change)
  • Housing Benefit
  • Council Tax Benefit (excluding the 25% single person reduction)
  • Pension Credit - Guaranteed only
