These courses allow entry to a degree course at final stage. It is designed to equip you with the core knowledge, skills and expertise you need to help you succeed in a range of disaster related careers.

You may have the opportunity to apply your knowledge to a real world situation by attending a residential fieldcourse in an overseas location.

Building on subjects you will have already taken in years 1 and 2 of an equivalent degree, you will have the opportunity to study a range of themes, including:

• community resilience, vulnerability and development;
• natural hazards, climate change, GIS technologies for relief, reconstruction and development humanitarian aid.
