This course is aimed at new entrants who wish to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to progress on to the various Construction Technical Certificates, Level 2. To gain the qualification, learners need a minimum of 8 units, plus one optional unit. The assignments are designed to represent situations that a construction operative will experience. Course Content: This course is aimed at new entrants who wish to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to progress on to the various Construction Technical Certificates, Level 2.
To gain the qualification, learners need a minimum of 8 units, plus one optional unit. The assignments are designed to represent situations that a construction operative will experience. All the assignments are supported with theory sessions to enable learners to work safely and produce work to a high quality.
Course Format: Full time 3 days per week
Applicants must ensure they can attend all classes before accepting an offer.
Progression: Current employment prospects within the construction industry are good. Successful candidates may progress onto the NVQ 2/3 in Construction.
Key Skills qualifications are an important part of the course and studied to maximise future employment opportunities.
