Course Description:
The NVQ is completed within the workplace a candidate must be employed in the area they wish to study, they are required to demonstrate to their assessor that they have certain competencies.

Description Breakdown:
A qualified assessor will be assigned to your company to support the training and they will make a series of workplace visits providing underpinning knowledge and support with portfolio preparation. You will be required to be working in a machine printing environment, including, Lithographic printing, Flexographic printing, Web printing, Gravure Printing, Screen Printing or Digital Printing. You will prove competency by completing a series of units, these could include, setting up and making ready, operating printing machinery, controlling equipment, mixing and drying inks, maintaining equipment. You will be observed working to the units, whilst collecting evidence and answering knowledge questions.
