Good typing skills. The level you start will depend upon your experience and keyboarding speed (words per minute). A short assessment with Jill Stevens takes place at the centre.

Course programme
Fast-track training for the 'gold standard' in Secretrial and Administration. Often still referred to as RSA, but now called Text Processing (Business Professional). This is an accredited qualification leading to either an Award, Certificate or Diploma. The qualification is modular and based on credits per module. the number of credits determine the qualification title achieved.
All of the modules at Levels 2 and 3 are available. the level you start at depends upon your typing speed and experience. Afer an assessment it may be possible to go straight in at Level 3.
Here are a few of the modules available:
- Text Production, Word Processing, Document Presentation, Speed keying, Shorthand and Audio Transcription - Level 2 or 3
- Legal Word Processing - Level 3 only
- Business Presentations (eg using Microsoft PowerPoint) - Level 2 only
- Mail Merge - Level 2 only
- Medical Audio Transcription - Level 2 only
- Medical Word Processing - Level 2 only
- Medical Text Processing - Level 1 only
