PC Maintenance and Trouble Shooting

Course content:
This course is for people who want to learn how to do PC maintenance and prevent computer problems. You will learn the basics of how to troubleshoot, fix bugs and do basic repairs to a home computer.
At the end of this course students will be able to:
- Demonstrate a knowledge of Computer Basics
- Cleanup and perform basic repairs to a computer
- Perform Basic Pc and Laptop repairs
- Perform Basic Trouble shooting
- Apply PC security
- Perform Basic Data recovery

Course Structure:
Students will explore the different parts of a computer system. Presentations will be made using the interactive whiteboard and printed notes from online material.
Class discussion will be held to help student understand concepts.
Question and answer sessions at the end of each class will help reinforce the understanding of the topic taught.
Home work will be mainly in the form of researching topics discussed.

All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.
