This portfolio based course is delivered by a combination of taught classes; tutor led practical sessions and set project work. Individuals learn to create and perform their own music and improve their confidence/ self-esteem. Course content includes: Singing training. Instrument advice. Stagecraft. Music industry training. Lectures in songwriting. Students will be encouraged to compose and perform songs (any style) together as a band in the studios. Suitable for: This course is for all vocalists, songwriters, instrumentalists and performers of any level who would like to gain experience in the music industry.

Songwriting & Performance Courses
Our performing arts courses are run by industry professionals who have worked with major artists including Celine Dion; Shania Twain; The Chemical Brothers; Lionel Ritchie and the Spice Girls.
This experience from performing; recording and working on major albums will be a key resource in your tuition as a developing performer/songwriter.

10 weeks / 2 days per week / 120 hours
Suitable For

Course Fees - ensuring that you pay the lowest fees
Standard Fee
The standard course fee is 300 GBP. To be eligible for the standard fee you must:
• Be aged 16 and over
• Currently reside in the UK
• Have resided in UK for at least 3 years
If you are not eligible for the standard fee, you will have to pay the full cost of the course.
Concessionary Fee
You will only have to pay 15 GBP to register for the course, if you fulfil the residency criteria above and at least one of the following applies to you.
• Job Seekers Allowance
• Asylum seekers or refugees in receipt of the equivalent of income tested benefit
• Income support
• Housing Benefit
• Council Tax Benefit
• Working Tax Credit with a household income of less than 15,050 GBP
• The unwaged dependents of those listed above
