To ensure all candidates meet the criteria laid down in the 4 modules of the award as required by the Royal Life Saving Society. This includes Module 1 - The Role of the Trainer / Module 2 - The Role of the Assessor / Module 3 - Life support T/A - Module 6 - National Beach Lifeguard T/A. Suitable for: Qualified RLSS beach lifeguards with suitable experience who wish to train as a RLSS Beach lifeguard Trainer / Assessor

About this course
Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age, hold a valid RLSS National Beach Lifeguard Qualification and have adequate experience in the open water environment. Ideally candidates should already have experience in either coaching / training or teaching. Candidates be assessed throughout the course and must achieve all the core competencies to gain the qualification.

Course review:
A six day course delivered through a combination of classroom theory, pool exercises, open water exercises, with ongoing assessment and evaluation being carried out throughout the course.
