User Experience (UX) Design

You will receive feedback, critique and helpful tips on how to iterate your design ideas, design wireframes, build and test prototypes and finally, refine and polish your design. You will also consider design documentation and the preparation of assets for developers so that you get familiar with the professional UX processes.

The tools you will be using will allow you to design, draw and add interactions. You can choose from a number of tools and apps available, which your tutor will discuss in the first lecture; these may include: Adobe Illustrator, Sketch and InvisionApp.

Course Outcomes

By the end of the course, you will have a greater confidence and understanding of the benefits of UX. You will have built an app prototype and begun to test, refine and share this.


Who Should Attend

Ideal for design students or graphic design practitioners with a keen interest in new media and digital design. Some knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Bohemiancoding Sketch is recommended.
