Suitable for: Private and Commercial Pilots, Navigators, Aeronautical Engineers who require the privileges of operating a VHF and or HF radio transmitting equipment fitted to an aircraft.

Course Contents
Covers the evolution of controlled airspace and radio procedures. Definitions. Abbreviations. Call signs. RT protocol. Types of services available. Flight plans. Flight information service. Standard clearances, conditional clearances. LARS and MATZ (in the UK), Transponder usage. Emergency procedures. ATIS, Volmet.
All students take the written examination. The RT Practical test is completed after individual practice using a format similar to the one used in the actual CAA exam.
