This course will provide delegates with the knowledge and practical training to enable them to access structures and work at height. Where applicable, the course content follows current Health & Safety legislation, BS 8454: 2006 and the ACWAHT (Advisory Committee for Work at Height Training) syllabus. Suitable for: Skilled Climbers will be expected to work almost entirely from within the confines of protected areas but are able to move to exposed areas if necessary to carry out straightforward work tasks based on their experience. They may be under the supervision of a more experienced climber or may be designated as the 'Person in Charge' of the climbing operation.
About this course
A Self-certification Fitness Questionnaire is to be completed on the day. It is important for delegates are free of any medical condition that might adversely affect their performance. Not only might such a condition create a risk to themselves it may also create a hazard for other people. Training may be energetic and mentally taxing for some people.
Delegates are requested to bring suitable clothing and footwear allowing for the current weather conditions. Delegates must be 18 years of age and fluent in English.
