  • why is it that new skills north east based in south shields keeps offering people the chance to go on to nvq training if they do their 2 day course's and then they never getting back to you , i have been waiting months for them to get back to me about starting nvq training and they just keep fobing me off saying they havent recieved any funding yet, has anyone else on here had the same thing done to them by newskills north east? or has anyone got any advice on what i could do to stop them doing this to more and more young people trying to better their career prospects.

  • i have done the 2 day plastering taster and highly enjoyed it!! would tell anyone to give it a go! the staff are brillant and very friendly! i didnt no what i wanted to do till i went on this course now i no thanks to the staff i have made my mind up can't wait to do my nvq level 2 in plastering.

2 Day Skimming Course

This course is very a very intensive introduction to the skill of applying finishing plaster to a variety of backgrounds, ideal for people who would like the know how and confidence to tackle small household plastering jobs, or as a fast and effective introduction to trowel skills. This course is also available on weekends and some weekday evenings, subject to availability
