A student who wishes to study full-time to progress to university courses having recently achieved a range of GCSE and AS qualifications.
What qualifications or experience do I need ?2 AS Level at grades A-D including this subject. E grades will be considered on an individual basis. GCSE English grade B or above GCSE English Literature grade B or above if taken.
What will I study ?A2 English Language and Literature specification - 9179 Examining Board - EDEXCEL Unit 3 - Varieties in Language and Literature Unit 4 - Presenting the World (coursework - 40%)
How will I be assessed ?Assessment will be through: * examination * coursework according to the specification of the awarding examining board.
What qualifications could I achieve ?On successful completion of this subject, the candidate will gain an A Level Certificate in English Language and Literature.
How do I join the course ?You must complete a full-time application form and make an appointment for an interview with a tutor. References will be required from your previous educational establishment.
