WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
The CompTIA A+ is an industry-wide, vendor-neutral programme. CompTIA, the Computing Technology Industry Association, was established by the leading Information Technology companies, including IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, Hewlett Packard and many others, to develop vendor-neutral standards globally and provide and establish certification, criteria and testing across a wide range of hardware, software, networking and Internet technologies that are not related to any vendor specific products.

A+ is widely accepted globally as the most appropriate entry-level qualification in IT, and an essential preparation for Cisco, Novell or Microsoft certification. The course is designed to satisfy the latest CompTIA A+ specifications.

The course objectives are:

To provide an internationally recognised entry qualification to the IT industry
To prepare students for CompTIA examinations

WHAT DO I NEED?
WHAT ARE MY COMMITMENTS?
You will need to attend classes one evening per week for 10 weeks on Thursdays 6.00pm - 9.00pm. You must also be prepared to do the necessary reading in your own time.

The course will run on the following dates:

WHAT WILL I ACHIEVE?
On successfully passing the examinations you will achieve a CompTIA A+ certificate.
