2. Course description Graphic design is a commercial art form that uses words and imagery to represent or communicate ideas for a purpose. The course will develop your knowledge of contemporary design practices and concepts as well as referencing modern designers and artists, using up-to-date resources and gallery trips.

3. Entry requirements You will be expected to have a minimum of 5 grades A*- C at GCSE, including 2 B grades and a minimum of a C grade in English Language, and no less than a grade D in Mathematics. You are normally expected to have at least a grade C in GCSE Art & Design, however you will be asked to bring samples of your work to an Art Welcome Event or to enrolment so that the best advice can be offered. If you have not had the opportunity to study Art at school you can be assessed for entry by completing a portfolio task. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5.
