What is the course about?
There is a simple principle behind AAT Accounting qualification. It's called real life. The qualification focuses on the practical skills and knowledge you'll need to be a successful accounting professional.

Are there any additional requirements?
Materials: Text books, Skills tests and personal stationery.

Uniform: No.

Other: You are required to be registered with AAT as a student member and enter for two exams.

What are the course outcomes?
This level introduces more complicated accounting tasks, including preparation of final accounts for sole trader and partnerships. You will also learn how to maintain cost accounting records and how to prepare reports and returns.

How will you be assessed?
As you work towards your AAT Accounting qualification, you'll be assessed on the practical skills you develop during the course. This will be done in two ways:Exams; These are set and marked by the AAT and will test your ability to apply what you have learned to true-to-life examples. Exams are held in December and June.

Skills Test;These course assessments check your progess regularly.

Is there an Examination Fee? Yes, £76 at Level 3 for AAT. Possible exam costs Numeracy and Communication.
