Students should have a good standard of literacy and numeracy and normally should possess 4 GCSEs at grade C/D or above, 2 of which must be English and Maths. Mature students may be accepted without these formal qualifications.

Assessment:
All levels are assessed by a combination of internal skills test and one external (computer-based exams) which the successful candidate must pass.
Course Leads To:
After completion of the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and Level 4 Diploma in Accounting, you will be a recognised qualified Accounting Technician. You will also be a part qualified accountant where you can use the AAT qualifications to obtain exemptions from CIMA, ACCA and CIPFA examinations.
