This is a part-time course based at the North Road (Poole) campus. You will attend college one eve a week, studying manual book-keeping. On successful completion of this course, you may progress to the AAT level 3 Diploma in Accounting.

The aim of this qualification is to develop your understanding of the bookkeeping principles to advance your career in finance. In particular how to execute the principles of double entry bookkeeping and understanding journals, control accounts and a trial balance.

Study it as a standalone, or as the natural mid-point between the Level 2 and Level 3 bookkeeping qualifications.

About this course

Although no formal qualifications are required to join this course applicants need to be at least 18 years of age and have good numeracy and literacy skills at level 1 (or above) that will compliment a career in accounting.
