Description of the Course

Course content
· Contributing to management of performance and enhancement of value (exam)
· Contributing to the planning and control of resources (exam)
· Preparing personal taxation computations (exam)
· Drafting financial statements (accounting practice, industry and commerce) (exam)
· Operating a cash management and credit control system
· Managing systems and people in the accounting environment (project)
Assessment
Candidates must successfully complete:
· 4 External examinations
· 2 Skills based assessments
· A portfolio of work related evidence
Entry requirements
AAT Intermediate or NVQ Level 3 in Accounting.
What can I do after this course?
If you wish to progress further, AAT qualifications provide the perfect springboard to become a chartered accountant with CIPFA, ICAEW, CIMA, ICAS or ACCA.
