Accounting and Finance

What will you study?

You will be introduced to a broad range of topics that are vital for understanding the business world as a whole. You will study business IT and statistical analysis, as well as organisational behaviour and law. You will also focus on financial accounting, management accounting and finance, developing your technical expertise and your ability to apply and evaluate theoretical concepts and ideas.

All our business courses have a shared first year so you can easily transfer to the second year of a different course if your interests change.

• Points: 320
• Units: to include at least 200 points from two A-levels or equivalent
• General Studies accepted as one of three A-levels or equivalent (100 points required)
• Key Skills not accepted in tariff point requirements

We will consider a range of alternative qualifications that are equivalent to the typical offer. Applications from international students with equivalent qualifications are welcome. Please contact us for details.

Our flexible modular structure enables us to provide direct entry to the second or third year of our undergraduate programmes for suitably qualified students. Applicants must have studied identical modules at their current institution and meet our standard first year entry criteria; apply via UCAS giving full details of all your modules and previous qualifications
