Accounting Standards Update

The convergence to IFRS is over and the first financial statements have been produced, audited and published.

The task now is to take the IFRS process to the next stage including understanding the changes to be implemented for March 2011 and to follow up on issues that may have arisen during the 2010 accounts production process. The course provides a detailed overview of the International Standards that are due to change for 2011, amendments made to the Financial Reporting Manual (FReM) and Finance manuals compared to 2010 and practical problems encountered in the first year of IFRS.
