If you are over the age of 18 an Advanced Apprenticeship allows you to gain a nationally recognised qualification whilst working in paid employment. Your programme will be up to 24 months depending on your age and experience. To commence your Advanced Apprenticeship you need to be working in the Adult care industry.

You will be allocated a college assessor who will visit you in your place of work and help you to build a portfolio of evidence against the National Standards of your Apprenticeship.

Technical Certificate / Underpinning Skills and Knowledge element:
Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
Competence based element:
Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF)
Functional Skills:
Maths and English at level 2
Employment Rights & Responsibilities (ERR)
Personal Learning & Thinking Skills
