Course Summary:
This framework provides the vocational pathway for children’s physical activity and school sport delivery and development. It is designed to ensure that there are suitably qualified people with the knowledge, understanding and competency to deliver, plan, organise and assess the learning of children in a range of environments including the community and schools.
It is a good introduction to opportunities to work as a physical education and school sport professional delivering low-risk activities through the curriculum and/or extra-curricular activities.
Entry requirements
This is an appropriate pathway for candidates with existing qualifications in coaching, sport and leadership, and a progression route for intermediate apprentices in activity leadership. A high standard of English and maths will be expected.
Apprentices must have a positive, can-do attitude...
