For those with at least two years' subbing experience. How to deal with news stories and features quickly and accurately, plus tips on treading the fine line between rewriting and heavy subbing. Practical exercises with copy from your publication. Includes:

- Dealing with difficult writers
- Revising page proofs
- Writing sharper headlines, standfirsts and captions
- Breakout boxes that work harder
- Learning the shortcuts for fast and accurate subbing
- Coaching junior subs

Not for: Junior subs. This is a very demanding workshop
