This Advanced Diploma in Medical Sciences (Pre-Medical) is endorsed by TQUK - an Ofqual approved awarding organisation.

Medical Schools:

ADL's Pre-Medical Advanced Diploma has been reviewed,assessed and determined by the RCSI Dublin, Ireland, to be an appropriate pre-medical qualification. It has also been accepted by the Royal College of Surgeons in Bahrain and Malaysia. The qualification can therefore be used to support an application to attend Medical School in these countries.

Aberdeen University in the UK, consider's the qualification an appropriate one that can be used as part of their admission process, in fulfillment of their academic requirements, starting in the next admissions cycle; i.e. applications in October 2017 for 2018 entry.

Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) in the UK, is happy to accept the Advanced Diploma as an entry qualification onto their BM BS Degree.

Xavier University in the Dutch Caribbean has recently told a student that they can use the Advanced Diploma to support an application to attend there. According to Xavier's website, graduates can work at hospitals in both the U.S. and Canada.

Please note: The decision as to what courses should constitute Pre-Medical program requirements is not determined by ADL. Each Medical University sets its own entrance requirements regarding courses they will accept. If you have a particular Medical University you wish to apply to not listed, then we strongly recommend that you check with the admissions office of that medical school, as to the acceptance of this Pre-Medical Diploma. Not all medical universities accept Pre-Medical Diplomas that have been undertaken by distance learning.
