Course programme

The aim
To develop the skills to be a successful supervisor.

About the programme
For new and veteran supervisors alike, this programme reveals the nine components to supervisory success. Using the scenario of a recently promoted Customer Service Representative (CSR), now asked to lead his previous co-workers, we see realistic situations solved by these key points.

Meet Alec, the top-notch CSR, recently promoted to supervisor. Alec is excited and a bit overwhelmed by his new responsibilities - especially the challenge of moving from the role of friend/colleague to team supervisor.

It's not always easy, but Alec starts to apply the nine components of supervisory success, including how to: plan and prioritise; encourage teamwork; communicate upward and downward; discipline effectively; and model the way. Once Alec finds his place, his team learns to trust his guidance, work together more efficiently, and function more independently.
This programme provides an array of tools to help keep your supervisors successful in their role and is suitable for use in both your training sessions, and as a follow-up.
