We will meet once a week on a Wednesday starting Wednesday 13th April. The Sewing Course is open to everyone (aged 11 years and over) as long as you have used a sewing machine before.
13th April: (Quick refresher on the sewing machine so I can see where we are all at) Then we will start looking at designs for each individual student.

20th April: Measuring up for fashion – hints tips and guidelines from my fashion knowledge. We get measuring and designing a fashion project, plotting patterns, looking at styles. We also make samples such as tricky seams (gathering, pleating) Zip insertions et all.

27th April: Cutting fabrics (if not already started) and techniques on how to put it all together.

4th May: Let’s see how far we have got so far. This session could be making up the dress, finishing, zips etc.

11th May: If we have finished our project we make some matching accessories & have some fun in this final session.

Spaces are limited on this unique course, so we can get the very best out of our time.
