The air ticket clerk belongs to the professional family of airport clerks, otherwise known as "Airport stopover clerks", professionals who deal with the various operations related to the air transport of passengers and baggage, before and after the flight, from the ticket office and check-in -in, boarding, special assistance, arrivals and lost property departments. The Airport Attendant is in fact a multifunctional figure, who is responsible for managing all activities related to air transport in the passenger area (ticket office, check-in, arrivals, lost and found, special assistance). He welcomes and helps customers and passengers with reservations, provides information about dates, times, availability and prices of flights; promotes products offered by airlines and assists passengers by answering their questions and requests regarding flight changes or cancellations. In the context of the airport, the air ticket office is the person who deals with the issue and reissue of tickets, the acceptance of passengers with hand baggage, the regularization of excess baggage, the control of regularity of travel, issuing new tickets to replace lost ones, checking the availability of flights. In essence, this is a customer service figure at the airport, who acts as an intermediary between passengers and the airline.
