As I have been freelancing as a makeup artist for over two years, I felt that my skills were still quite novice or just needed some brushing up.
My lesson with Sumantha was very helpful indeed and I learned a great deal. I was given useful feedback on how I currently apply makeup which I found very useful as I don't receive enough ongoing feedback in my work. She also provided me with other tips/advice on makeup application which I will take with me in future work. A great lesson.

I felt that the course was very helpful, but as I only had a short session I felt it was slightly rushe, I would of liked to apply the make up myself. But I did learn as much as I could wit great tips involved.

Course programme
This course enables you to gain an ‘all round’ knowledge of professional make-up application. It is in-depth enough for you to work as a make-up artist, but is not as detailed as our Professional Make-Up Course which is more industrially recognised.
It is ideal for new make-up artists who want a strong foundation knowledge that they can build upon through their learning and careers. It is also perfect for make-up artists who feel they could refresh and update their skills.
This course is practical and certified. Rather than gain a certificate for attendance, we assess you. This means that your certificate carries more weight for you as a professional make-up artist.
As it covers all relevant aspects of make-up, this course is often taken with some or all complimentary short courses:
* Eye Make-Up
* Lips and Cheeks (incl. advanced contouring skills)
* Creating Flawless Skin (incl. colour correction)
Please note, we are taking names for our waiting list for courses running from September onwards.
