To appreciate our anger, understand what is unhealthy anger - both as aggressive or suppressed anger, and learn new strategies for expressing our emotions. We will also look at the relationship between stress and anger. Suitable for: People who would like to start the process of understanding their anger either as a stand alone course, or as a starter for deciding on whether to commit to a full 30 hour anger management weekend.

About this course

Willingness to participate in a small group setting. Ability to manage without drugs or alcohol for the 24 hour period before and then throughout the day course. It is important to have a clear head for this work. No previous training required.

It's an introduction to the subject of anger and anger management. It covers the relationship between stress and anger, how we express our anger, the triggers for anger, and the rules of anger management. It is a participatory workshop within a small group.
