Applied Bioscience Technology, Foundation Degree

The foundation degree programme is a 3-year programme that provides work-based solutions for workforce development and training. Developed with, and for employers, the programme incorporates interactive e-learning, on- and off-site and academic support, short residential blocks, work-based learning (including short and extended negotiated work-based projects) and accredits in-house training. The framework provides the ideal training plan for employers looking to have their own provision accredited, while at the same time bringing in essential new learning. The majority of your learning will occur in your workplace guided by self-directed learning, supported by study learning sets. You will be allocated a practice tutor who will help you plan your learning in the workplace and an academic tutor to support you throughout the course. The framework is fully flexible allowing delivery to be adapted to suit the needs of the organisation and the learner. Please note that most of the programme is work-based with summer schools hosted at the Medway School of Pharmacy. Degree structure Produce graduates equipped with the skills to play an enhanced role in the Biosciences Industry, nationally.
